The Planning and Zoning Department serves four separate yet interrelated boards and commissions: the Planning and Zoning Commission, the Zoning Board of Appeals, the Environmental Protection Commission and the Architectural Review Board.

2006 Town Plan of Conservation & Development

A public hearing will be held on a proposal put forth by the Darien Planning and Zoning Commission to amend the 2006 Town Plan of Conservation & Development.

That public hearing on this matter, which was originally scheduled for Tuesday, March 23, 2010 at 8pm in the Auditorium of Town Hall has been postponed until sometime in 2012--March 27, 2012 at the earliest.  Check this space in late December for the new date or call the P&Z office at 656-7351 at that time.

A zoning regulation amendment regarding real estate signs was adopted by the Planning and Zoning Commission and takes effect on June 5.
