The Department of Energy and Environmental Protection (D.E.E.P.) hereby provides notice that it will conduct a public information meeting under Section 15-134(f)(2) of the Connecticut General Statutes regarding an application submitted by Bruce Gulick of 40 Beach Drive, Darien for authorization to place a marked course for water skiing on the waters of the state.
Specifically, the applicant proposes to place the marked course along the northeast shore of Holly Pond in Darien. The meeting will be held on Wednesday, November 29, 2017, from 7:00 to 9:00 P.M. in Room 206 at the Darien Town Hall at 2 Renshaw Road, Darien, Connecticut.
All interested persons are invited to attend this public meeting – also referred to as an “open house”, and speak with the applicant and Agency officials, and present their views concerning the proposed slalom course. Individuals may also submit written comments on the application anytime before the information meeting and these comments will be entered into the administrative record. Copies of the application may be obtained or viewed at the Boating Division office located at D.E.E.P. Marine HQ on 333 Ferry Road, Old Lyme from 8:30 A.M. – 3:00 P.M. Monday through Friday.
