2/3/2021 - 27th District Special Election on March 2nd

                                                LEGAL NOTICE of MARCH 2, 2021 SPECIAL ELECTION

                                                FOR CONNECTICUT STATE SENATOR, 27TH DISTRICT

 

 Effective on January 5, 2021 Senator Carlo Leone resigned his position in the State Senate to accept one in Governor Lamont’s Administration. There will be a Special Election in the 27th Senate District on March 2, 2021 to fill the vacancy. This election will affect ONLY Darien voters in the 27th Senate District, which includes Darien voting Districts TWO and FOUR.

The Darien Registrars of Voters are holding the March 2, 2021 Special Election in the following poll locations:

** DISTRICT FOUR poll location at Town Hall is for THIS SPECIAL ELECTION ONLY.     

***PRECINCT 4-1 of DISTRICT FOUR is in Senate District 25 and DOES NOT vote in this Special Election.

POLLS WILL BE OPEN FROM 6 A.M. to 8 P.M.

There WILL NOT be Election Day Registration for this Special Election.

There WILL NOT be an automatic Absentee Ballot application mailing to Darien eligible voters for this Special Election. Voters who wish to vote by Absentee Ballot may obtain an application through the Darien Town Clerk’s Office at 203-656-7307, or the Town Clerk’s website.

Governor Lamont’s Executive Order 10 allows all voters who wish to vote by Absentee Ballot to use the Covid 19 excuse by checking that box on the Absentee Ballot application.
