Tree/Shrub Planting

At the Town’s urging, with the support of the Department of Transportation (DOT), Eversource has agreed to plant 76 trees and shrubs in the area of the Noroton Heights Train Station during the Spring of 2024. This mitigates the many resident concerns regarding the loss of vegetation around the station parking lots, including the area by The Depot. The planting plan is posted to the Town website for review.
The Department of Public Works will maintain the new vegetation.
