The Town of Darien has formed  a Mental Health Task Force.

The initial purpose of this group is to address the acute mental health issues in our town following the multiple recent suicides. The task force will include mental health experts and key community leaders. The immediate purpose of this group is to communicate closely and coordinate all the services and supports currently being offered to the Darien community.  The longer term goal of this group is to develop suicide prevention and postvention plans as well as help address the mental health needs in our community.

Below are a few mental health providers who are currently accepting new clients, many are are prioritizing appointments for Darien residents, so please identify yourself as such. We will be updating this list as we learn of more providers, so please keep checking back.
